Yard Work

This weekend we planned to trim and spray some round-up on what we thought were a few over grown vines in the bushes between our house and the neighbors.  Boy were we wrong! As it turns out it wasn't a few vines in the bushes it was all over grown vines that were a mess. They had grown all over and up into the wires.Here are some pictures of the craziness that was our weekend in the front lawn.  Hopefully we did the right thing and the trash people will take the mess we have out in front because we still have some more to go.

Logan's 27th B-day

On the 4th Logan turned 27.  We celebrated Friday night by heading to Dupont Circle. We started by going to happy hour at the Melting Pot where we had some cheese foundue.  Then we headed further down Dupont to a beer bar/pub kinda place that Logan had been wanting to try. It has over 200 beers. We had some more food and Logan tried some beer. Then we called it an early night and headed home. On Tuesday his actual birthday we had ribs and mashed potatoes (his favorite) and then french silk pie and he got to open his present. Overall I think he had a fun birthday.
