2 months

I have no idea how it happened but Brandon and Sophia were 9 weeks old Sunday. They are getting sooo big. We have been cleaning out almost all the newborn clothes and washing the big kid clothes. They have started sleeping in their own room sharing one of the cribs. They are also starting to be more alert and my favorite smile! Sophia does it all the time especially for her daddy. Brandon is still working on it. He is more interested in working on his muscles. :) Overall they continue to be easy going and good natured. They love playing on their tummy time mat and having stories read to them. They also love music and Sophia is becoming a fan of watching football like her Daddy.   We are looking forward to seeing what kind of new things they learn in the coming weeks. At their 2 month visit Brandon weighed 10 pounds 15 ounces and Sophia weighed 10 pounds 5 ounces. The doctor says they are growing like crazy and are perfect. We knew that already of course! :)

Halloween 2014

Halloween was lots of fun even though they are too little for much. They had lots of different outfits that we had gathered before we knew they would be home. After we brought them home we found their costumes. In the morning we went to mommy's school in our costumes to watch the parade and go to the Halloween parties. We were super well behaved and  all the kids and teachers loved us. In the evening we put our costumes back on and went trick-or-treating to our neighbor Brian's house. Then we sat on the porch and handed out candy. They were the hit of the neighborhood. Can't wait till next year when they will be old enough to enjoy it more.

Baptism Weekend

We are so hungry but mom & dad
won't let us eat in our outfits.

On October 19th Brandon and Sophia were baptized by Pastor Eric. We were lucky enough to have Logan's mom, dad, Luke, & Harper here along with my mom, dad, Sarah, Kurt, Abigail & Rebekah. We had lots of friends and church family there to witness it as well. They were awesome in church and looked so cute in the outfits Aunt Sarah made for them.  Besides the baptism we had a busy but fun weekend with the family. Brandon and Sophia loved meeting everyone and being spoiled by them all. We were lucky enough to have a beautiful weekend.Saturday  Logan, Luke & their dad got to go to the Iowa/Maryland game while the rest of us went to the zoo. On Sunday Logan and family hit the oyster festival and my family hit a festival and the mall. There was also lots of playing in the leaves. We loved having everyone here and can't wait to spend time with them all again soon.
